My Comment to a Post on Another Blog

I was referred to a post on some other blog today and the friend that sent me the link knew that I would have something to say about it, dont you love when your friends know you too well :).


I decided to revive my old blog that I just used to ramble on, as comments boxes make typing a large response often complicated , and as some of you know, punctuation when Im passionate about something usualy doesnt get invited to the party.


What I read was a mixed bag and as I have often seen in blog posts or chat conversations by people that dislike it , many many mix ageplay with sexual perversion, thats not fair or informative.. as in every single lifestyle choice in SL and other online games/chat whichever , there are abusers.

Fortunatly in SL and economy run worlds, its alot harder to actualy be underage and not be eventualy found out, so I'd like to believe that at least the strong majority of ageplayers in SL are over 18.

I have very important to me friends in SL that ageplay , in the sense that they have taken on the form of smaller avs, many of them are furries so they are cubbies, and well in cubbie form its a lot less graphic I think than as a skin (thats what I call us non furries as human sounds silly ) .

So now I'll address the blog post and maybe shed a different perspective on it , who knows.

That is if sexual in nature 'abuse' if a male or female wish to be a child avatar and play adult games with adult avatars, that is wrong by far, no exceptions..not only on the side of the adult avatar but also the one that is representing a child and 'that' is what I believe is and was regarded as needing to be stamped out in SL .

I do not know any child avatars that play sexualy in SL ...and all of my friends know that it wouldnt be tolerated, we have discussed this in the past when all the demonstrations were happening to save ageplay .

"I know there was a lot of hoopla about the child porn in SL not too long ago. Why do vendors still cater to child avatars? I see skins, hair, clothing, poses (ewww), and even jewelry. Heck, Alienbear Gupte has a whole store dedicated to kid jewelry. "

Never in all my time in SL have I seen Child Porn , I would flip the hell out , skins are for the majority adult skins on child av's , I actualy wish there were more child skins made so that they didnt look so alarming , but actualy just looked like children , its very bizarre looking at a little girl who has on a skin you yourself own and know is anatomicly correct.

I have also never seen poses not in all the times I have visited children themed stores, so I am wondering if that is confusing 'tiny' poses with childrens ones as they are different things , I am not saying there arent but , that realy suprised me so Id love elaboration on that one.

AlienBear I met as a child av nearly a year ago at work, she was a cute little girl and spoke to me professionaly about her jewelry store which "Isn't" only for children it is a mix of Childrens and Adults Jewelry , and I would pretty much assume, that as she loves beautiful things just started crafting items for herself and her friends and that possibly from then people wanted them as gifts for their own children , but that is an assumption I am not sure about , but NOTHING is wrong with her making adorable little pieces that can be given as presents .

This one is the one that got me going ..."Issues" ?? pretty harsh assumption that just because you dress as a child and do childlike activities you have issues .

Thing is children and cubbies I know , shop like everyone else , hang out socialy and chat all day like everyone else , they are limited to where they can go as they are persecuted but also many many of them have respect for what would be seen as appropriate behavior, examples being that if I go shopping and tp one or more in and we dont know the lay of the land and realise that there is an 'adult' community sex wise or things of that nature , we leave or they do , they do not intrude on what is other peoples right to experience.

Being an asshole is nature , the rest are seen as lifestyle choices as is ageplay of the non sexual variety...the thing is that for many 'lifestyle' choices are natural , they are able to be what feels right for them on the inside, how they express that is also their right.

It's been a year since I first befriended a cubbie, and I have watched how many of them are, what makes them tick so to speak.
I am not a psychiatrist or a health professional in any way shape or form, but I would think if one was asked their opinion on this they might actualy deem it healthy, that in a virtual world they are releasing their inner child , showing that they need support , love , guidance etc .

I recently had a RL discussion with my mother and a neighbouring business owner to her own , about the fact that our local Mayor wears a metal choker 'all the time' *grins* I told them that perhaps she was 'collared' that she was a submissive and not afraid to wear it in public .

The response from both was 'oh no she is too strong too tough not her no way " my mum and I have had lengthy discussions on D/s so I pfft'd her lol ...those that know will also agree that many many real submissives are strong, are very intelligent and highly motivated people , and that some of them lead very very high profile and proffesional lives in public .

That is and can be very very stressful for many to do day in and day out, some can be submissive by nature, and then there are some that embrace submission to balance that out , as in when they come home they hand over the load to a loved one , their Dominant perhaps.

To me ageplay is a form of that also, life is hard , we experience pressures and pain and dissapointment at an alarming rate in RL and sometimes that happens very early on in life , some had to grow up very fast ...and to make it clear not all in SL are under 30, some are well past that and grew up in very different generations and with very different educations and worse is that many had to grow up too fast that they didnt get much education at all , by having to leave school to support families, possibly because of parental loss etc .

To be able to walk in your door RL after a hard day at the office, being everyones shoulder, having the weight of your world on yours, being responsible for the welfare of employees and their families and so on , its not inconceivable to me that one would want to log into SL and be a princess, or a dragon or just a little cubbie.

Thing is also in SL we expect ALOT from adult avatars, the grid in just the year and a bit I have been here has changed into complete ,what are you providing for us mentality for many , do you design , do you create , what is your purpose ?? personally I think the children/cubbie avs have got you all pegged , because no one is making demands on them to make things or contribute , they just get to be.

A comment on the blog said "I CAN'T STAND when the kids try to talk to me in kid talk"

Ok that cracks me up, because other than 'yesh' every child or cubbie I know in SL speaks exactly the same way as an adult , now if you think hard though , how about all the 'adults' in SL that talk baby ??? how many times do you go shopping and hear those gestures of 'SISSSSSSSSSSY I love you sissy " and any number of other text banter that is hard to understand at the best of times , it is not the ageplayers that have the monopoly on baby talk , not at all .

"This whole episode made me think about another aspect of this in SL that has been nagging at me. Family in Second Life. “Oh Tina, I want to introduce you to my SL Mom…she’s so great” or my favorite, “Yeah, he’s hot, but he’s my SL Grandpa so he’s kind of off limits”. What the bloody hell?? Then you take a gander at their profiles…they’ve got the whole family bush in there!
I can kind of understand the SL sister thing. I don’t get the brother thing and I really get grossed out about the rest of the family thing. It just doesn't sit right. In fact, business-wise in SL, if I see the family tree in their profile, I tend to not take them serious at all."

I dont understand how you "kind of understand the sister thing but not the others ??" again woudl love elaboration on that one , a lot of the sister stuff is Gor and D/s Poly but anyway .

My cubbie and skin childsized friends have parents in SL , there are actualy adoption agencies , which struck me as very bizarre in the begining ....child avs having parents isnt so strange as we would probably find it a lot less acceptable if the children didnt..if they owned condos and drove cars and things like that in sl then it could be a bit odd lol .

Thing is I also grew to understand the need for it from their point of view, they want a sense of what they might not have in RL , people that unconditionaly care for them , no ifs or buts ...I need you your my family you are there for me and i am there for you , its pretty tempting when not ridiculed , yes some get carried away and some again 'abuse' it .

I have one cubbie friend who's parents dumped him because he wouldnt stop talking to a friend who the mum had had a fight with , he was devastated that his SL mum decided it was pick me or get out , and yes I ripped her a new one in group chat for all to see , but he has gone on to a better family now so it worked out well, he is loved he is cared for, and that is all I care about .


* There are actualy RL families in SL I know of two large designers stores that are actualy RL family , so by 'not taking them seriously" you are missing out on very good quality items and also making very big assumptions based on a profile .

* Culture plays a huge part in it also, we are an international grid , and watching an American/Chinese movie with subtitles the other day I was reminded that in some (im not assuming all) Asian cultures its a respect thing to call an adult of a mature age 'Auntie or Uncle" they did it in the movie and we have a huge Asian population here in Australia and I have seen in happen in RL too .

I was raised to not call non family memebers by family titles, but my Mums BF's daughter called every adult friend of her dads Aunt or Uncle ...and by doing so their kids her cousins.
Also all of my RL friends had children young , so their children have become close to all of us that are friends, and sometimes the lines of that got blurry, as you end up becoming friends with the next generation also , and some families to balance that out also have titled their friends so that the kids had structure.

I dont personaly allow it, but it does warm my heart when a good friend tells me her 5 children were raised to regard me as family and that if they every need anything that their parents cant provide or help them with , that they might need to talk to someone about things they are going through they know they can always come to me .

All of that crosses over, you cant drop RL at the connect button, as much as we would like to think that we can, its not possible to completely lose what is built into your personality and upbringing , even the adult play comes from the same place , its just that we often use the 'I couldnt do this at home' option rather than the 'this is how I am at home ' lol .

I guess what Im trying to say is , please dont write off a person you have no understanding of what makes them tick, your only suffering a loss yourself , I love my friends in SL big or small they enrich my life everyday.

Being in a virtual world means we have to visualise everything and that does change things to some degree, but its your eyes that shouldnt rule your head or heart , let people feel and need what they want too, as long as its not abuse so be it.

This is not your world its everyones and to say that they should be made their own grid is sad , or to only be allowed in pg sims , thing with that is that the way search is listed many sims were rated M by LL not by the owners , M doesnt mean only adults can be there its just a warning that mature content may be involved and by the fact that we are all supposed to be over 18 to be in world means they can be anywhere they choose to be .

But again like I said , I dont know any that would be in areas that would be sexualy mature content and those are the only ones they should steer clear of and not just because kids shouldnt be there , but so that the people playing dont feel uncomfortable bouncing on a poseball lol.

I hope that that helped someone understand from a different angle, it sure helped me to get it off my chest or Id be steaming for days over it lol .

The old saying you can choose your friends not your family comes into play about now , in SL we can if we choose to , but to make out like people met on the internet are less important than people you could meet RL is a worry too , please let me know if I misunderstood that comment , because that would be a whole new post :)

Busy

Ok so as the title suggests Ive been flat out busy the last two weeks and have neglected my blogging duties lol so I apologise for that, dont know who im apologising too but I can dream your out there :P . Yesterday I spent a few hours with Grazia Horwitz from SecondStyle Blog, she came by House of Zen and was talking about needing some pics for an upcoming article she is doing in RL so as I had some of the clothing that she has we zoomed off and jumped over to the Opera House, if you ahvent been GO NOW, DONT WAIT look up Sue Stonebender in Search and use her picks lol its how I always get there. So we both Dollied up in our Marie Antoinette inspired X3D Gowns and struck a pose, now as the article isnt released and they arent my pics :P you will just have to believe me when I say it looked awesome, and if you ahvent seen the range by Digit Darkes then you are Missing out big time they are simply put FANTASTIC ...then we shot off with Fiachra who had by now joined us and took some shots in silks lol and Vennix was a good furry Master lol too fun, Grazia needed some "Fantasy/Lifestyle" shots and well jsut lucky I happen to have a Masters throne in my inventory lol (dont ask :P ) so afater we giggled all exposed to the world in those outfits and silks realy dont leave much to the imagination ...we jetted over to Midnight City Bridge and this place is awesome for taking pics at as the skyline of the city is wonderful great build whoever you are...I was exhausted by then at 544am to even think to look so my apologies lol by the third time Miss Grazia had crashed I got Fia to jump on the pose ball so I cud have a pic of us im wearing the House of Zen Boostier set Hot pants and the top is called Cow Top, WHY ? I have no idea, I call it my censored top, because to me it looks like someone put a censor label over a picture, Grazia wore the boostier to the Hot Pants I was wearing and the Leather Pants in black also by House of Zen and again as they are article shots I havent included them but trust me she looked Smooking Hot, My Hair is by Diversity and is the Brats set and Fia is wearing his favourite Cowboy outfit that I cant remember where he dragged me to, to get but lol Im sure he woudlnt mind it if you Im'd him lol I can jsut imagine my IM box if that happened giggles*

The other FANTASTIC thing I wanted to share with you is House of Nylas Peacock Lingerie *DROOLS* as you can see in the enclosed pic of her pogoda(14 at Hinode Shima/House of Zen ) its divine and I jsut had to get it, talk about something that makes you want to walk around in your underwear *sheesh* Mind you I have told everyone its a bikini lol and as Nyla agreed its what makes you happy, and strutting around in this outfit sure made me that :P I think it made Rend happy too lol in the pic im wearing House of Zen Kerper dress in black and the same day a new store in SL opened called Punch Drunk and they sent a pic through Fash Con and I had to race over and get the set that included those socks woot pirate socks lol worn in the pic with White Rabbits SNAPZILLA .....So if you get a chance to come by the island and scoop up the lingerie from Pogoda 14 and you have to check out all the sexy leather in mens and womens at House of Zen the pants are the bombdiggity

Well it was a chore filled day yesterday lots of things had to be done and well some things had to be sorted out which kind of sucked...I was attacked in a store last week and I think I may have mentioned already three hours of landmarks and notecard spam..thing is when it happened and I couldnt do anything history continued flooding my inventory was filling by thosands faster than i could trash them and my first thought was to ban those responsible from teh island so they couldnt cause more drama, well silly me didnt think that they would hunt down my first land where Rend and Fia and Hoz all have landmark givers to main stores and Rend has his Lava Fountain on display :( but I tpd over there yesterday and foudn myself trapped I thought I was lagigng or had landed off course but into cam view i realised that these people had erected gigantic prims of their group logo with gun iimages onto every vacant metre of my land covering it completely and entrapping any potential customer that might have unfortunatly tp'd in ...I was horrified, not for me I dont care about what it did to me but I do care that peopel that might have shown interest in my friends products were probably either horrified at what they landed in or worse disgusted, anyway the Lindens came to the rescue and fixed as luckily enough for me these attackers as smart as they think they are used their own ids to make the prims so now its all noted on lindens files etc so Yay thanks again Lindens ...so after allthat drama I wanted to go do something silly and fun and I love to go to Bedrock as the Flintstones are my all time favourite cartoon and Bedrock in SL rocks lol you have to go if you havent been it is so well done and the time and energy to recreate the real plants and imaages not just cop out and put out normal sl plants is awesome so thank you to the creators of Bedrock for loving something so much to share it with us in world ...there is a Quaarry and a Ferris wheel and a drive in Cinema (wish i could get bloody movies to play for me one day yes and then blah , but thats in general nothing to do with Bedrock lol ) and there is even Bowling that is 25L and so funny as you can see Meko and Rend and Vennix playing in the photos, Fia and I opted out as Mouse look isnt my friend lol and even though you realy cant see much of what im wearing its the kaitlin rust top with black leather pants both from House of Zen and Vivid hair by Diversity with Rusted Rose by Essentia :) have a good day all and remember if your going to be so silly as to attack people in SL limit it to one shot and done dont stalk them or try and destroy their income and homes as this wasnt my income effected it effected other innocent parties, and I will try and remember that even though we were verbally ridiculed in public and I stood up to them that that doesnt mean they arent packing some crazy ass weapon that willeffect my life for days after :(

Snapzilla the Shoes that ate a Sim

I remember my first few weeks in SL and the little things you learn, one important thing is picking up after yourself, never was that lesson brought home more than when the owner of the sim I was a regular at asked me why I had 30+ prims on the land? I was dumbstruck as I always picked up my boxes when unpacking :(( well he did a hunt and found them lol I had dropped an earring, damm the littlest things seem to make the biggest mess lol but I have new big prim count items now and today Im wearing the latest on my feet ...YUP the Shoes that could sink a Sim 244 prims each shoes I Kid you not and arent they FABULOUS ...Im wearing them here with Leather pants by House of Zen , Boostier from the Hotpants set by House of Zen...Hair both styles by Old Gravy, Tattoo by ALFIE Boxer (pogoda 6 at Hinode Shima..love this tattoo) and Hair Rose and Earrings and Bracelet by Essentia (more huge prims believe me its Fiachras new obsession to make things to the prim limit lol )The Shoes are from White Rabbit and are absolutely fabulous and they have SHINE not Bling ..dont realy see that in the pics but they are realy awesome I love the detailing on the heels especialy , other great shoes can be seen on her site thats in the links portion of my blog so check her out also she is the feature designer at Gurlywood this fortnight (thanks to Six Kennedy for giving New Designers space in her store YAY Six ) ok thats enough from me for the day I think Ciao for now Groovers

More Reasons to Love

I had to get some work done for an upcoming convention in Second Life and I needed to concentrate :P thing is the cubbies were visiting and Rend had to leave soon for Family stuff RL so I was at the store and Hoping I could be done before he had to leave, well he immed me and said time to go but not to worry he had arranged a sitter for the cubbies Meko and Vennix and well as you can see I giggled buckets as I landed on the other side of the island to see 'the sitter' tooo cute

Corny but YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

It was of course Valentines day I had on my New Gown by Girlz-4-Lyfe (pogoda 1 Hinode SHima/House of Zen) My Heartbreaker shoes by White Rabbit, and I had my Man Rend , He had spent all the day before building with my Friend Fiachra and they I landed in what looked ot me like a simple street with beautiful streetlamps along the road until things properly rezzed and I realised our History was set out along that street...Pictures from as far back as when we met, showing images of Happy times, Fun Times and yes even sad times to show that we got through them all together and then at the end we turned a corner (lmao I just got the significance of that just then but shhh dont tell him im that silly ) and the ground was gone only starfilled sky surrounding us and below the earth, lol yes folks he made me Heavenso thank you my love Rend for making me still all glowy since and well damm nervous as hell realy as the whole concept starts to kick in lol we are getting Married in SL when I have no clue but why ? well I know why and I hope everyone out there gets to feel the why everyday

Shopping and Space

Started off in my fab new jacket from the mens section at last call, teamed up with Hair by HCT Hair Rose by Essentia, the NEW ladies version fo the mens dress slacks in Grey from House of Zen, shoes by SM and a cute latex bra in silver by X3D..grabbed the boys and went to check out Escape, now I havent been here before that I remember and thanks to the FashCon group I was able to check it out and i sooo glad I did ..I ended up buying a few things and one of them was her latest outfit which she has also put in the lucky chair and as you all know my guy loves pirate ships so an out fit with skull and crossbones that is also so cute was jsut the thing for my inventory so YAY Escape, the outfits are realy cute and realy well priced and the stores themselves are layed out well enough to be able to stay in there fore more than 5 mins argh I hate stores I just want to throw myself off the nearest balcony because I cant breath in them ..so I changed and we went to find Nicky Ree because Fia had fallen for Lance lol so off we went in search of the outfit that I swear we went to 3 of her stores and could not locate and eventualy he found it in the 4th so peeps when you send notices saying in this store only make sure its in that store :P anyway it was fun and we got the most awesome freebies from her main store NASA space suits ...no shit the real deal and they are soooooooo cool, so we hopped over to the adidas store because by now Fia couldnt wear his Becks with shorty shorts lol and rolls my eyes he iddnt have socks (cringes at even wanting to wear socks with them ) and as you can see by the time we got to hearts desire he was in make Sasy crazy mode lol
so after that we suited up and went exploring and found the most awesome International Spaceflight Museum ...my god this place was incredible im not usualy a prim counter thats Fias department but DAMMMMM, and I have to say its when yo see builds like this that are purely there for passion of the owner no money made just somethign they HAVE to make in sl and share I am always impressed so take the time ladies and gentlemen to visit that and the startrek museum and other wonderful little passion inspired places in SL because as goofy as we all look we had fun and we were inspired and thanks again Nicky Ree for your awesome free suits

Friends and Music and Hair Oh My

So it was a long day yesterday and it ended in Fiachras sky platform as he continued to set up his new posters and such for his new Bridal Bouquets and Accesories stores , and My poor Rend got so sleepy that well..you can see how desperate he was to lay down just by the picture, the things men do huh lol...So we all went to night night land and then in the morning which for me was about 3 hours later I came back and it was time to do some work lucky me Zen had released more new items My Goodness she has been a busy little bee lately YAY New Robes jsut in time for Valentines day and these gorgeous pants two types charcoal grey with black belt and then the same again with a stunning asian floral motif down one leg soo yummy so a few hours in the store and we were off me in the Asian Motif pants and Kerper tube top both by House of Zen and then a Jacket layer of the tiffany set by Nyte and Day Pixie Hair by ETD and my new hush hush not yet released Earrings and Bracelt by Essentia and of course to top it off Burgundy hair rose by Essentia and Deep Red Shoes by lol guess who yeah yeah Sylfie Minogue strikes my feet again, but Im jsut biding my time until there are more and more shoes by Luve Shacks White Rabbit ...so off we went me and Fia and Vennix and Meko to enjoy the wonderful and amazing talent of Edward Lowell and if you have not heard him play in world then you need your head read, he is UBER talented and such a Gentle Soul, his Musical Talent is far beyond jsut the guitar he plays on stage and often he is joined by other musician friends of his, he plays his own music and yes one of his songs is famous for being written in IM ..his gig was at the new and wonderful Sterling Vineyards a Bridal Sim that also enjoys promoting live music yay to Cyrene for putting together a wonderful evening...after Ed a Musician I hadnt heard before got up his in world Name is Capos Calderwood and he was fantastic also his music was a mix of humour and real awakening to me as an aussie, he has a wonderful song called Guadalupe and it realy made me realise that not only did 9/11 hurt many people at the time and aferwards through destruction but the aftermath of things that other than high security at airports (which pisses me off when people bitch about that, I traveled across the states a year ago and I must have been taken aside and had to wait etc for a female to frisk me no less than 9 different times due to lots of small stops and airline changes and not once did I ever think it was inconvenient because if it stops or deters one person so be it) but his song made me realise other things like where he sings about and how little changes effect in HUGE ways, so thank you Capos for opening my eyes all the way across the world http://alexwhitmore.com/ that is his rl website which includes his music and info about him so I hope you take the time to listen and he is also very very funny, one of the best things about SL is the live music oppurtunities we get to share and indulge in so make sure you not only check events for things like clubs and prizes and sales (still do that though :P ) but check out LIVE Music, and be generous because once in a while and this was what I did today I said you know what I'll tip my Hair to them lol we can allwait a couple of days for new clothes or shoes or hair etc but you dont have to tip big just something to say you know what you rocked my world and your talent is appreciated.... same way you do with the designers of SL everyday by buying their products, which on that note reminds me, if you do ever see a letterbox or notecard taker in a store where you enjoy the product or atmosphere drop them a line saying just that , it realy does make them warm and fuzzy that you went that extra step...after the gigs Meko wanted some pics of his 'Friends" and well as corny as we are we saw a couch and had to do the pose thing lol and yeah im still singing that silly theme in my head its been roughly 14 hours now blast it lol have an awesome SL day and oh P.S the other pic is Our Home covered in Rose Petals My Guy did that for me the other night and well I jsut wanted you all to go Awwwwwwwwwwww jsut like I did, was wonderful to be treated to something like that for absolutely no reason other than he loves me :o) blows kisses to Rend and you all be safe be well and remember Manners are Free

ok in no particular order you can hopefully work it out from the pics lol, jsut pretend its a puzzle board :p So I started off the day as I like to try to at least once every few days under water ...now some of you that know me will say "suuuure you fell in again didnt you" but i swear it was intentional, Rend says I have a water fetish lol anyway fetishes are a whole different kettle of fish ooo fish shakes my head to focus...Ok so i was under water with my dolphins wearing black leather pants from Hoz and a backless gown top from Pixeldolls, reason being a bought a skin from there a million years ago and a body map tattoo of a geisha and hadnt even tried it on till today and WOWZA a gazillion stars for that creation and thank god I had that dress to show it off handy them being from the same store lol, so then i waved by to my little friends who often go naughty and try and escape the island and land back in my inventory , but they rock my world got to love dolphins you can ride in the water or fly in the air and set to either only you ride or anyone ride and wander and follow options they realy bring joy to little girls ive let ride them through House of Zen lol probably annoyed some customers but the little girls had a ball so thats all that matters right :) oh and the same way I had to find Magical Dolphins you will need to look in SLX or SLB and then go to the store once you find creator because not even properties is working on them right now...ok so sitting water dolphins amazing tattoo and Hiar by Goldilocks called Coif a bargain at 50L in her sale pyramid lol ...ok so i got off my leather pants clad bum and went about my day spent some time in the store helping customers and checking out the pogodas for new stuff Trinatie Nolan Techniques (pogoda 19) has designed the bestest baby furniture with an asian theme a must have for all you sl parents that love asian furniture and want to take that into the nursery, or even better for Gifting for baby showers and what not...ok so then a group of us went to Nomine and omg LAG LAG LAG but not Nomines fault SL was rife with it my friend Annie Barnard (one kick ass wedding co-ordinator in sl) bought a few outfits from nomine I already have all the ones I love from there like the divine Lilith, Mil2 and Illyria One and Two love them they rock , then i followed with annie the baby furries (Vennix and Meko) each day spent with cubbies is fun to be had, also Mika the adult furry He rocks my world too and walked over to the Material Squirrel section , YAY I had forgotten they were there and had desperately wanted to get the skirtts I had seen on Second Style Fashionista blog for ages but every time I planned the TP something came up...so off I ran and I have no idea if I pushed people out of he way in my rush (remember lag :P) so I scooped them up all four of them and Annie got some too hell even Meko grabbed a set and HE is a HE lol baby furrys rock ...and while V and Mika ooo'd and aaaaa'd over their new wings we planned the next trip which was me to take Annie to Old Gravy lol yep again off I went lsot Mika and V on the way but Meko joined us and Annie grabbed a few hair dos and then had to run off to bed as she is on different timezone.

Then next stop for me was Hinode back to the island I went to catch up with Rend who was busy building more water for the island lol (secretly I think he tries to put water every where to make me smile HUUUGE, got to love that in your man I know I do )Meko went to join V at some event at Heaven and Hell (an awesome club where peopel actualy talk, no shit its true ) so while Rend was busy making water I dove into my inventory and made a splash of my own wooohooo NEW SKIRTS I lvoe this idea of skirts to have that dont actualy belong to sets as I have tops I love to wear from House of Zen and even Dresses I like to wear the tops of with Pants and Now can Mix them up with longer skirts too YAY , but then I realised even though copy/mod No Transfer I had two of the same skirt and realised with the lag and the freezing I had bought two of the same :( so I IM'd the creator kala Bijoux (who replied a few hours later and returned my 100L which rocked but accidents happen in sl if she hadnt or had been capped ah well) and as I was typing an explanation I put one on and OMG the pics the blog nothing does these skirts Justice like having them on oh god I was loving it as I twirled around and dove back into inventory and put on a Green short Knitted off the shoulder sweater by House of Zen ..these skirts are incredible and you get 3 styles single layer, full, and layered i dotn even know what the others look like yet I dont care I LOVE the full skirt enough....So there I was feelign like a gypsy in my fab skirt my top and my dark green hair rose by Essentia but needed the perfect hair to pull it off and what do gypsys have but curls so i ran to my gurl6 folder and pulled out on of my all time Favs Beautiful Mess in Strawberry, I so Love this hair as it was my first Fabulous prim Hair,(unfortunatly I was one of the slow to find Gurl6 as a Newbie, had bought a few others before that but nothing compared to that style so I always consider it my first) which made Rend happy as he fell in love with me as a red head (thanks to Six :P ) So now I was feeling all primped up I wanted to go somewhere new and I had been given a folder of landmarks of nice places in sl which ironicly I named one the same in my inventory but I thought lets see if anywhere I havent been and I found the perrrrrfect place........................................

Serenite Gardens we landed in a snow covered sim and it was lovely on landing, ice sculptures behind us and lovely trails of bridges and paths and wouldnt you know it GYPSY Wagons lol it was fate I tell you so we strolled around and I had lag again so I told Rend to explore, come back and wouldnt you know it 'Honey I found a Pirate Ship " LMAO (I told you the man is obsessed) but this pirateship isnt just any pirate ship its "THE" Pirate ship, the one he covets and I tp daily to RELIC to see if its released yet, so of course thats what I did but alas no, could have saved myself the trip though on looking at the wonderful creator of Serenite's picks I found that He and the Amazing creator of Relic are great mates :D love that about SL so it was no coincidence too that ther were fat little sofas in one of the stores on the sim lol we have those at our house too and they are awesome Multiple poseball animations love them love them love them, so anyway looking aroudn these cute little stores one is full of jack-O-lanterns with intricate carvings and Yummy Skins is also there, but the one thing that I adored was the cutting Garden a little section of many many wonderful flowers and plants that as a dream of the owner are available free to everyone ( jsut right click more and take copy ) such a unique and lovely idea , so click click click I went as I love the idea of them and I tend to have stuff in folders that comes in handy when someone in my box says things like "Sasy I need an Elephant" (yes I have one :P ) We spent more time enjoying the sim together and met a nice girl that also Coveted the Pirate ship and was eagerly like Me and Rend waiting on its release, then we came home to where we are now and I changed becauswe I just had to put on another of my new skirts lol.

So now Rend and I are at the Volcano He bought me for Christmas with the hidden Grotto, at the Beach at Hinode Shima,I have one another of the amazing skirts by Material Squirrel with the black knit top by House of Zen, Hair is Population reduction by Old Gravy :) (he loves me enough to not stay red allll day lol ) Black tipped Grey Hair Rose by Essentia and He is in lol he hates that Im doing this Shirt by Naughty, Shoes by Shiny things (wish someone would explain to me the chain and locks unless its feminist retaliation for the chained to the kitchen sink :P, which I tell people it is anyway lol ) Jeans by House of Zen and the cream sweater underneath by House of Zen from the 'professor' set ..........................while typing all of this and yes I talkk lots and lots and lots I got to see about the new group Fashion Consolidated which is a fantastic concept to save all of us full group people from missing out on other groups new releases, it is already jampacked with designers and customers all wanting to be part of it, so If you get the chance join up and you will find many big names and new names you ahvent heard of before and be able to realy enjoy what SL is all about NETWORKING to the MAX, thank you to Honey Fairweather for this awesome idea, it realy is going to be a great New year and shared by many now thanks to her, the concept is going to be like getting SecondStyle, PXP, Second Man and all those other fabulous blogs delivered in world in a notice lol ...ok enough for now signing off Hope I didnt bore you

Hair today More Hair tomorrow lol

I was in one of my usual MUST HAVE HAIR moods so off I went, wearing Purple and Gold pants set from House of Zen with my Sexy Hair by ETD and yes shoes by Prim seductions (SM) to Old Gravy LOOOVE Satines Hair strolled through the store checking out the styles and found nothing I didnt already have :P so patiently I will wait till her New releases, went outside her store as Satine has a few prims set up that addvertise other stores she likes taht friends own and that run along the same lines as her own, skanks-r-us I visited last week and that was fun, the owner was there and we had a cool chat, was nice that she has considered making hair herself but loves Old Gravy so hasn't because she buys from there lol...so up the top I saw one I havent visited yet and it was called Roxee and Rummage (cute) so off I went and landed in Roxee, nice store Mens and Womens clothing, small amount of hair...bought Rend a great sweater with skull on it (Pirate Mad he is ) and is had two options of with or without untucked collar shirt under it, which Zen did at HoZ in the New Professor set, so already a big fan of that look, then I crashed lol came back to last location (love that feature) and almost had a breakdown my arms looked like Id contracted radiation or been baked in a lava pit, yes it freaked me out appearances didnt fix it thank god Rebake did it looked like my skin was going to fall off, so once my heart rate was back to normal i strolled across the pretty courtyard to Rummage, gorgeous little store the layout was fabo , nice little sets for guys and girls kind of a mix between retro in some and more modern otehrs one Diner set was realy adorable . strolled out again as it was realy nice walking in this sim the way they had set out both stores and this flash of pink caught my eye...Hmmmm curiouser and curiouser :P so through the pretty gates I went and up a ramp I had no idea what i was getting into but a big sign saying YUM was reassuring lol ..well it seems there is a new restaurant in town but with a twist Deserts and they look wild , apparently the creators are a real time chef in New York and if you buy form the 1L vendor you get the cutest bag that conains a notecard with the actual recipe for these marvelous creations..the idea is reading from the notecard that they are planning a RL version in teh future and taht SL is going to be their test case there is even a survey you can fill in to help them on their way, the place is very very pink but the design is remarkable teh way the tables are set up you and yours will spend a delisciously romantic time in this desert lounge style concept so look out for it and they are Hiring so if you have hospitality skills give them a holler .....
Notecard from Mama Sugar
We will be offering experiential courses in order to meld the real world cuisine of Chef WIll Goldfarb with the virtual world in Second Life here at Mama Sugar. It will be a full-service dining experience available upon reservation and through regular events we will be hosting in the near future. At other times we will have an open bar and lounge for you to enjoy and make yourself at home.

User Run Space - We will be using Mama Sugar as a test prototype for a real world restaurant. There's a form to your right inside that will help us create the first user-oriented dessert bar. At this point, it is purely conceptual but there will be a real world application in the near future. We are going to keep a list of everyone who filled out this survey, and will be offering some sort of gift yet to be determined.

Ok so then I spent a few hours hanging out with one of our VIP's from House of Zen that was great fun *waves to Mel* and then off I went back to the island to be greeted by inventory drop from Zen with an awesome new Unisex set called Medallion, so I just HAD to get more Hair it was a Must ran over to pogoda 21 (here comes trouble) and flicked fast through the non flexie vendors Babyboo has at Hinode Shima and bought Gidget which i Fell in love with when Zen wore it for the new Yan Hanfu dress she released yesterday (we have been sooo spiled lately at House of Zen lol ) absolutely love too that Here comes trouble has furry hair also as many furrys socialise on the island and I always used to hear complaints about how hard it was to fiddle around with hair from regular sizes to fit furry av's so yay for Babyboo.............So in closing I say get to Roxee and Rummage go to Old Gravy for the landmark while your shopping there for great hair and cute sets of retro fashion OOOOOO I forgot I also bought while there a Betty Paige Tattoo for my leg :P and then skip across to check out Mama Sugar (cute name isnt it lol ) and do the survey if you have time ...then come and say hi at Hinode Shima and if you have furry friends or are one and have trouble with Hair come and see pogoda 21 and the furry hair packs and allthe other wonderful pogodas on the island as well of course House of Zens Main store because well remember Im totaly biased but honest IT ROCKS!!!

I'd follow this "White Rabbit" down any hole .....Ladies there is a NEW Shoe Maker in town and her name is Luve Shack...many of you will already know her as one of the most helpful shopaholics in sl *giggles* I met her at Gurl6 the day after one of the worst updates ever you remember it , the one where most people were either missing images or invisible but for floating attachments and NOTHING rezzed for days argggggh the pain the pain, so there was Luve floating hair and a cute personality standing by the new skins at gurl 6 being helpful to all while we waited ever so paitently to rez (didnt happen I ended up grabbing demos and trying them on days later lol ) and then after that Luve seemed to pop up every where :) yay .....so now she has gone into the shoe biz and has made some great new shoes to start ..on the left is some glorious themed shoes for of course ValentinesDay that is coming up, but not only are they shaped like a heart but the tiniest little hearts emit from the diamond heart at the toes.... sooooooooooo cute , and then there is the 'Animal Attraction" pictured are the Cheetah ones and oh so lovely the heel is silver and sturdy looking but sexy and sleek, so shoe lovers take note WHITE RABBIT is the shoes to look out for :o)

Like a Virgin (but only like :P)

Its 10pm Monday Night and I woke up in a Glorious mood :) First off Free Hair which you know rocks my world, I already Had the Naturals and Burgundy Packs but Elika Gave her group the Willow pack as a Gift YAY...Zen (House of Zen )also hours earlier released Ladies Leather Pants in 3 extra colours than the Mens ones so we get 6 they get 3 neeener neener neeener lol and the White are to die for , I have them on with the Tiffany top by Nyte and Day(giggles I TOTALY coveted this top and so glad I got the set finally a few weeks ago, see when Hinode Shima was being built one of the builders Trinatie Nolan (Trinatie Nolan Techniques pogoda 19 @ Hinode Shima) was wearing the set and she looked awesome, she loved it so much she didnt take it off for like 3days but her mind was on the build lol , back then I didnt know her well enough to be like where did you get it and go off and get the same outfit... I try not to do that with my friends, they by all means can buy what I wear , but sometimes I like to just leave it as 'YOU LOOK AWESOME' so anyway that was like 5 months ago so I thought once I did actualy see it in Nyte&Day that it would be ok lol I bloody hope so or she might chop me up into pieces and bury me at a build lol ), My White steel shoes by yes you guessed it Prim Seductions (why I love SM shoes so much is they include walk that is a great one same as my ao and it means I dont wear my AO much at all lol ) Black tipped White Hair Rose by ESSENTIA and Tessa by ETD is another fantastic GIFT we got this month from Elika so yes except for the burnt bits and my Mezzanine Bangle Im all White and loving it...did a bit of running around SL when I got up and came across the Yadnis free emotion hud LMAO soo funny I always wondered how Babyboo made those faces for her posters for Here Comes Trouble, which reminds me she released Hair yesterday too woot* so Im going to jump off my Tai Chi mat at the Docks of Hinode Shima and go to her store I think, I love these mats we sell them on the top floor of House of Zen and if you like Tai Chi you will love them 200L and full animated Giftable and Modifyable Mat part so you can retexture it to match your home and by the water is awesome ...YAY what a day im excited are you ? :P

A New Day

Ok so I just signed in and suprisingly its after midnight my time and Fiachra is still awake YAY, so he tp's me to the location of his new store he is opening which is ESSENTIA Bridal, he has been making the fantastic hair roses for a few months now and we have so many friends and customers getting married or having been married in SL and we have seen many bouquets and it was the obvious next step for Fiachra's Roses ........today im wearing the wonderful new leather pants by House of Zen and the top of the sexy Lacey dress also by House of Zen with prim seduction shoes (SM again lol) and Hair by Old Gravy and the black tipped Grey Rose by ESSENTIA in my hair :)...So anyway Im standing here as he puts out his new store and plays with texture placement , which believe me is a nigh mare as Fia is soooo crazy lol we can go shopping and he will see a vendor or somethign and tell me they used 3 to many prims to make it or that beam in the ceiling is an inch lower than the others , drive me crazy YUP do I adore him like Crazy YUP :o) his new store is in Sanggae 83,197,53 but his Hair Roses are still at his main store at Hinode Shima, thank goodness because I would miss him like craaaaazy anyway I have no clue what today brings its been an interesting couple of days past but not realy that interesting lol just kind of fast and furious, but I will keep you posted Oh and I just finished watching 'the day after tomorrow" wow what a Movie highly recommend it

nothing too much

Its kind of a non event day so far, but Im wearing the Abyss Ladies pants and Red knit sweater by house of Zen, Hair by Artilleri, HairRose by ESSENTIA and shoes by SM lol but im sure you could ahve guessed that by now, ok so right now its 438pm Friday my time and well "Happy Australia Day" which in reality means, get drunk and fall over in the gutter day...so I just went up the road to get some food ...anyway so im sitting on a prim at the island (Hinode Shima) home of House of Zen, while Rend builds a wonderful new area for the island, and while Fiachra plays with his roses for his new releases in another store so as usual bah sitting here feeling inadequate *sighs* and chomps on my kebab , at least the Kebab man appreciates me <3

Wow what a day !!

I had a Little Break for many hours of course after I said I would lol but then thats always the way, and when I came back I was in a tough mood but still loving my black and white theme of the day, so my fav boots came out ...NEW Biker Boots by X3D Apparel, they are so hot love them , my strappy shorts by of course STRAPS (mens store that Fiachra just loves to death) great store we visit regularly for a bit of a different kind of flavour lol and they have a lions cage that Fia got so much joy out of standing real close to and tp'ing me in once, these shorts were actualy his once but they didnt look good with his Kirin AV and He refuses to take off his shins, I'm thinking I better hide them though because he has been a skin alot lately. My tube top in white is one of the tops to the 5 pack of Kerper Tube dresses from House of Zen, love that set so handy to have the skirts have a lacey bottom nice and short but not too short and 5 great colours , topped that with the short layer of the leather jacket Zen just released last week, Hair Rose by ESSENTIA (Fiachra Lach) and Brat hair by Diversity....So I grabbed my BF Rend and took him to a sim my good friend Katja had taken me to many moons ago called Suffugium........I love this place for one main reason *giggles* DUMPSTER DIVING, you havent lived till you find the carpark that goes underground into an alley and right click and sit on a dumpster and before you know it your gripping the sides and your bums in the air and legs flailing, and you come up with something like Drone-B-Gone or Evercrack I think I even got a broken hula hoop once lol...Im so serious this is the most funnest thing ever...I wish all freebie bins where like that all over SL It would be the most entertaining thing you ever saw....this sim is a punk sci fi kind of place has seedy bars and laundromats, a diner that when you sit on the one barstool rezes another and so on, a robot bouncer at the door of a club asking if your over 21, and these scanner ball flying things that if they come to you you have to stop so that they can scan you 'subcitizen scarborough' lol it was realy great fun going back there again and being able to show Rend, even though he thinks I am quite mad getting so excited about wallowing in the trash lol, so If you have ever seen those Arnie Movies or just realy realy realy want to dumpster dive (lol and I cant blame you ) then get yourself to Suffugium and find the driveway that goes down into an underground alley and have a blast there are also so many buildings to explore stores, porn and pawn shops and other things :)

Then after we went and showered and changed I got to finaly wear my Zoe Hair by Diversity with the stylish black satin bow that Digit contributed from her new "Wicked " line, slid into my sexy Onyx Gown by House of Zen with the flex skarf trailing behind me, Rend put on Black Business Suit also by House of Zen and our shoes by SM (Sylfie Minogue) and FKNY!! He tp'd me to a spot that we took some of the pics for his roses and of course lol if there is a Pirate ship anywhere on a sim Rend will find it *smiles* we spent the next few hours in each others arms dancing to 'slow radio' which was actualy realy cool I knew so many of the songs and shock my socks off , the actual artists too ( which if you knew me you would know is a miracle ) so Dancing at Sinners Paradise on a Pirate ship with the beautiful waterfalls and scenery was a perfect ending to a great day, Sinners Paradise is definitely an Adult Sim, its a mix of 'play' and 'explore' or just enjoy the small private places that can be lovely like the pirate ship that we had for the most part to ourselves for the evening. It is definitely worth a look around its a huuuge sim and so many peopel visit at once which is suprisingly not laggy .....any way its actualy the time i signed on yesterday now and I have to go see my mum RL yes yes at 1am Im very odd , so I will catch you laters :)
